What Stargyde Auto is

Stargyde Auto helps you simplify your car search and understand your numbers. It has three tools: a vehicle search, a payment calculator, and a question and answer tool. We are an information service. We do not sell vehicles, we do not offer loans or leases, and we are not a dealership, lender, broker, or insurance company.

Not professional advice

What you see here is general information, not financial, legal, tax, or insurance advice. Payment estimates are starting points, not offers or quotes. Your real numbers depend on the dealer, the lender, your credit, and many other things. Our answers are written with the help of artificial intelligence, which can make mistakes, so please confirm anything important with the dealer, your lender, or a qualified professional.

Vehicle listings

Listings come from third-party data providers and dealers. Dealers control their own pricing, availability, and vehicle details, and listings can be out of date or incomplete. Features such as leather or a sunroof may not be shown. Please confirm everything with the dealer before you visit or buy. Links to dealer sites and vehicle history reports lead to pages we do not control.

Who can use it

Stargyde Auto is meant for adults, 18 or older. You do not need an account.

Free use and the 24-hour pass

A limited amount of use is free each day. After that you can buy a 24-hour pass for $1.95, plus sales tax where it applies. A pass lasts 24 hours and includes up to 10 dealer searches and 30 messages, shared across the tabs. Limits and prices may change. Payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see or store your card number.

Help and refunds

If you were charged and your pass did not work, or something else went wrong, email info@stargydeauto.com and we will make it right, which includes a refund where it is appropriate.

Please use it fairly

• Do not use bots, scripts, or scrapers, or try to get around the daily limits.
• Do not try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Do not use it for anything unlawful.
• Please do not type personal details such as your full name, Social Security number, or account numbers into the chat. You never need to.

Testing period

Stargyde Auto is in early public testing. Features, limits, and prices may change, and the service may be unavailable at times.

No warranty and limits on liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without promises that it will be accurate, complete, or always working. To the fullest extent the law allows, Stargyde Auto is not responsible for decisions you make or losses that result from using the service, including dealings with any dealer or lender. Where the law allows us to limit our responsibility, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue, if any.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site means you accept the update.
